Easter Throwback

WORKOUT 20 miles @ 7:53 pace on trail I was happy with this run. Considering the 60 degree start and super sunny skies, I can’t complain about my pace. WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:28 pace on treadmill/ weights This was the lamest treadmill run to date. I felt like I needed to crack my back the entire time and every freakin channel was full of commercials (we don’t have a DVR on this TV.) WORKOUT 8 miles @ 8:14 pace on trail The weather is just too nice to pass up an outside run! What made this run even better was turning a corner and seeing my parents walking the dog… on a FRIDAY. Totally unexpected! I forgot that it was a teacher planning day and they had it off. It was such a great surprise! WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:24 pace on treadmill I guess my plan to run slower outside and faster on the treadmill was a failure, haha. Pro-Tec to the Rescue!

WORKOUT Easy 6 miles @ 8:00 pace on treadmill/ Pilates The weather outside is ALMOST perfect for running- low humidity, temperatures in the low 60’s. The crazy wind, however, is not my cup of tea! I was tempted to run outside today, but decided it’s best to stick with my 2 days outside, 4-5 days on the tready to keep my knee from hating me. WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:05 pace on treadmill I think my knee is having DOKS- Delayed Onset Knee Soreness, haha. It was more sore today than yesterday (the day after my 18 miler). I decided to still run, as it didn’t hurt, I jut felt it more than normal. WORKOUT Rest/ Gym- weights My knee was a little sore this morning. To be expected, nothing to be worried about. Surprisingly though, my muscles aren’t really sore. I went to the gym to pump some iron. OK, not really, but I did get sweaty! ****** SO glad I ran Saturday! WORKOUT 18 miles @ 7:52 pace on trail 68 degrees, 95% humidity. Enough said.
