Cold front!

WORKOUT 8 miles @ 8:12 pace on trail This was a nice little run! I felt my knee a bit in the beginning, as usual, but then it went away. WORKOUT 4 miles @ 8:00 pace on treadmill + 2 miles outside w/ Riley The weather was looking a bit iffy today and I wanted to make sure Ry girl got ┬ásome exercise (she usually get a 2ish mile walk every day) so I turned her walk into part of my run. WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:15 pace on treadmill/ Pilates Pilates was great as usual. My abs WILL be sore tomorrow ­čÖé I decided to switch things up a bit and run my treadmill runs a bit faster and my outside runs a bit slower. It’s easy to run faster on the treadmill, but WAY harder to slow it down on the trail, so we will see how this switcheroo works out. Sunday Funday told on Monday

WORKOUT Rest/ Weights and Abs My knee was sore last night and a tiny bit sore this morning. Per my 2 rest days each week plan, I took today as a rest day. I did lift at the gym though. I did more upper body weights, as I’m trying to stay away from putting any additional stress on my knee. WORKOUT 16 miles @ 8:03 pace on trail I was glad to get a decent long run in the books. Sure 12 miles (last weeks long run)┬áis long, but not if you’re training for a marathon. WORKOUT 8 miles @ ??? pace on trail I realized half way to the trail that I forgot my Garmin. I could have turned around to get it (we live 5 min away from the trail) but I took it as a sign I should just run. WORKOUT Easy 6 miles @ 8:30 pace on treadmill/ Pilates Everything felt good. My knee was a tad sore the first mile like it was yesterday, but the feeling went away again.
