One more plug…

WORKOUT 6 miles @ pace on treadmill/ Ab work out I usually do Pilates on Tuesdays, but my hammies were still sore and I didn’t want to stress them even more, so I just did a core routine at home and ran. Pool Partay!

WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:20 pace on treadmill/ Weights Holy cow my hamstrings were sore this morning! Rolling this morning was borderline painful but it¬†definitely¬†helped. My run went fine. Nothing hurt, not even my knee… knock on wood! Speed Work is back in my life!

WORKOUT 2.5m easy + (4 X 1m @ tempo pace w/.25m rest) + 4.5m easy= 12m total on trail Tempo Paces- 6:53, 6:55, 6:54, 6:55= avg 6:54 Yay for my first actual speed workout in about 4 months!!! ****** I have been waiting for this day since January 1st, when I had to stop running because of my knee, which you can read about HERE. WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:20 pace on treadmill Easy run on the treadmill. I should really come up with a name for that bad boy. Everything felt good. I am pretty excited about my run tomorrow! It’ll be my first run outside since Boston and I’ve missed the Upper Tampa Bay Trail, my home away from home. ****** This morning started off slow and I am A-OK with that. Rosemary Bread Goodness

WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:20 pace on treadmill/ Weights Had a nice easy 6 miler on the treadmill today. Nothing was really sore or hurting, so that was a nice change I finally got my butt back to the gym to pump some iron. I usually stop doing any weights the week before a marathon and the week after to let my body focus on recovering the already¬†damaged¬†muscles. Sun Pass Awesomeness

WORKOUT 6 miles @ 8:25 pace on treadmill Things are feeling better! I am still going to stick to the treadmill until my long run Sunday on the trail, though, just to play it safe. I am so thankful to my amazing husband for our home “gym”. I KNOW I wouldn’t like dreadmill running as much as I do without that set up. WORKOUT 8 miles @ 8:25 pace on treadmill I had no intention to run 8 miles this morning. My right quad seems to be taking it’s sweet time recovering, so I’ve been sticking to the tready to lessen the impact on my knee and muscles.
