Britt’s Batch Part Dos
6 miles @ 8:25 pace on treadmill
Just a nice and easy recovery run on Mr. Tread. Nothing much to write about.
If you missed part 1, you can find it HERE… Day two started in the best way… with a run! Sure it was hot and sunny, but I always feel better throughout the day with a run under my belt 🙂 Plus, it was nice to see the island with only a few people on the streets. Most of the girls slept in pretty late from the pub crawl the night before, so by the time everyone was up and ready to go it was lunch time. We went to a yummy crepe place and had sammies and shared nutella/banana crepes… YUM! Then it was off to our snorkeling excursion! Here we are on our way out…
We had a blast out there! Ashley had an underwater camera, so it was fun to dive down and try and pose before we floated up. We went through a company called Sebago and they were great. The weather was beautiful and so were our ladies!
By the time we got back, it was time to shower and get ready for dinner and Duval Street! We went to Schooner’s Warf for dinner and it was nothing spectacular. I got the blacked red snapper and it was WAY over cooked 🙁 The smoked fish spread was super good, though!
Our next stop was a rooftop bar called The Garden of Eden. I won’t go into detail about this lovely establishment just in case you ever get the chance to go to the Keys and experience it yourself. Let’s just say, it was quite the surprise!
And what would a bachelorette party be without mustaches?
We were laughing… borderline peeing our pants… after this picture! Ahhh good times! More bar time ensued before we hit the hay. Day 3 went by fast, since I had a 3:50pm flight. We went to the Southernmost point before heading to the beach for some pina coladas and sun!
Have you ever been snorkeling?
