Iiiiiiit’s Wedding Time!
6 miles @ 8:20 pace on treadmill/ Abs
I woke up sore from Body Pump yesterday! Yes! Since it was my third class, I was able to choose the right amount of weight and definitely pushed myself! Whether is running or lifting, I love feeling the burn! I’ve been keeping the weight low for squats and lunges since I don’t want to test my knee too much, so my legs aren’t sore, just my upper body. My run went well, nothing to exciting to report there 🙂
You guys have read about Brittany’s Bridal Shower and Key West Bachelorette Part 1, Part 2 and Photos… and now the big day is here! She is getting married tomorrow at Sacred Heart, one of the oldest Catholic Church here in Tampa. It is beautiful!
Tonight is the rehearsal dinner. After we run through the wedding day routine, we’ll be headed to The Columbia. Located in the heart of Ybor City, The Columbia is the oldest and largest restaurant in FL. They offer the best Cuban-Spanish cuisine, along with flamenco dancers! Not sure what’s on the menu tonight, but I’m hoping for some paella, their delicious sangria and of course their warm Cuban bread!
Saturday is the actual BIG DAY! With 10 bridesmaids, it is going to be a full day of hair and make up! The wedding doesn’t start until 7:30PM, so we are doing pictures beforehand. And since we won’t be getting home until late late late, I’ll be doing my long run Saturday. This will give me one last chance to get my tan on (if you can call it that) while I run, haha. Gotta love the sports bra tan line 🙂
The reception is being held at the newly renovated Floridian Hotel. It was built in 1926, and follows suite with the “Old Florida” theme that seems to be going on with all of the wedding locations. It is a 19 story hotel with a lot of charm and luxury!
I’ll be a little MIA this weekend with all of the wedding festivities and Father’s Day on Sunday, but have no fear, I’ll be back in the swing of things come Monday! OH! and speaking of weddings… Today is Todd and I’s 2 year 7 month Anny <3
What are your plans for the weekend?
Are there any old hotels/churches/restaurants where you live that you enjoy?
