Thursday: 6 miles @ 8:25 pace on treadmill
My right glute was still a little tight, but not hurting. After 2 days of rest, I was more than ready to run!!! I love running 🙂
Friday: 4 miles @ 8:25 pace on treadmill
My glute is STILL freakin tight. Ugh. I ran Riley outside for 1 mile and finished off my run on the tready.
I consider yesterday a mini holiday. Go ahead, make fun of me, but I love celebrating 7/11 by going to as many 7-Eleven stores as I can and getting a free Slurpee. I probably spend more on gas than I get in free Slurpee goodness, haha. I don’t totally waste the day and try to get things done around town while strategically driving past 7-Eleven stores. It’s crazy how many there are in my area. Five in a five mile radius to be exact.
This year they gave out 12 ounce cups instead of the 7.11 ounce ones they used to. I guess the smaller ones require a different lid, so it was just easier to use the bigger cups… fine by me! Stop numero uno started with Mango Lemonade…
I hit the jackpot at 7-Eleven number 2! They had medium sized cups instead of smalls 🙂 Flavor- strawberry lemonade. Yummo!
Yes. I go into public looking that rough. Don’t judge. A super nice lady was there with her 3 kids and was more than happy to snap my picture real quick while the kiddos filled their cups! Next up was a combo of layered mango lemonade and pina colada… it was a good choice.
I finally found a 7 Eleven with different flavors and tried out the Sprite flavor…
And last but not least, I got the original flavor… Coca Cola 🙂
The only thing that could have made yesterday better was if I could have found a store with banana. It is BY FAR my favorite Slurpee flavor. Tastes like a banana runt 🙂 again, don’t judge me.
Fun Fact: Do you know how 7 Eleven got its name? They used to only be open from 7am to 11pm! Now they are open 24 hours a day so you can get your Slurpee on at any hour 🙂
Did you get a free Slurpee yesterday?
What is your favorite flavor?
