A Running Study, My Kind of PSL and a BDay Party
Saturday: 6 miles @ 8:34 pace on treadmill
Sunday: 5 miles @ 9:00 pace outside
Tuesday: 4 miles @ 9:30 pace outside/ Body Pump
A new STUDY has found that just 5-10 minutes of running a day could lower a person’s risk of heart disease and premature death. Soooooo, pass this little tid bit of information on because that’s totally do-able and WELL worth it 🙂
I love anything and everything Pumpkin. Pumpkin in my oatmeal, in my shakes, in soups, in ravioli. My mom always makes me something pumpkin for my birthday. Usually it’s pumpkin cheesecake, but last year, she made pumpkin fudge and it was SO GOOD! All that to say, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks. Shockingly, I’m not a huge fan of the PSL. And by that I mean, I would certainly drink one, but don’t go out of my way to get one. This is how I prefer my PSL…
This weekend my mom and I went to my second cousin Jackson’s 1st Birthday Party. He is the cutest little boy and I just love his dimples! They had a burger bar for lunch and of course cake for dessert. He was a champ with his cake and like me, only wanted the frosting. Can’t say I blame him.
It was a nice afternoon with family. My other cousin flew in from Chicago and it was great catching up with her. When she announced that she’s pregnant, my mom noticed I was tearing up and pulled me aside. We went outside for a few minutes, where she helped calm me down and did her motherly thang. I really hope I’m as good of a mom as she is 🙂
As for Labor Day. Well, I labored. I might look happy, but…
It kinda sucked because Todd rarely has days off (this being one of them) and I was working from 9:45AM to 5PM. Oh well. At least Riley girl had company and was able to play with her daddy all day 🙂
Hope you guys have a grrrrrreat week!
