THE GOOD

Buy one get one free LaCroix sparkling water at Publix. I love a good BOGO. I’m a pretty big fan of LaCroix- even if it is super carbonated- and this was my first time trying the peach-pear flavor. Ehhh. I could take it or leave it. I probably won’t buy a whole case of it again, but it’s good on occasion. Riley photo bomb!

More Publix bliss. I usually get the fresh ground PB from the deli, but they were out at BOTH Publix’s I go to, so I resorted to their glass jarred all natural PB, which only has peanuts and salt, and was PLEASANTLY surprised! The deli PB is JUST peanuts and I like how this one has salt ๐Ÿ™‚ And who ISN’T excited about pumpkin galore?! Looks like I’ll have a lot of pumpkin oatmeal/pancakes/bread in my near future!IMG_20140917_172707257IMG_20140923_073156781

THE BAD

Reaching the bottom of BOTH jars of nut butter- almond and cashew.ย Always have to have a picture of Ry girl ๐Ÿ™‚ Don’t worry… there were more jars in the pantry. This girl can’t go a day without her beloved nut butters!

Taking aย shower and reaching for the towel when you’re done, only to remember that you never got them out of the dryer. Wah wah.

THE UGLY

The after effects of eating a WHOLE butternut squash. I love love love roasted butternut squash, but I’ll tell you what… It makes me BLOATED!

Not realizing that something you thought was only 100 calories was actually 600 calories AFTER you finished eating it. Ugh. Not gonna lie, I had a mini panic attack. I mean, it was good, but not 600 calories good. I’m usually such a good label reader, but in my moment of hunger when I picked up this spinach pie, I didn’t realize the misleading nutrition facts. Never again.

Having to shove pills down your precious dogters throat for 2 weeks. Riley is fine with taking a pill every once in a while, but 2 pills, twice a day. She wasn’t having it. It was so frustrating. After several days of struggling with her, we finally figured out a way to get her to take them- putting them in pieces of bread covered in PB.

  1. Awww, such a cute post!! I hate when I get out of the shower to no towel!! Man, that happens to me more than I can remember!! Hehe!! Also, such cute doggy pictures!! I love them!! I also have a little panic attack when I read the label wrong and the calorie content was way higher than I thought!! You’re fabulous!! Hope you’re having an amazing week!! XOXO!!

  2. AHH, did you get that Brooks shirt at REI??! I wanted it so bad, but it fit me funny. Womp womp. The good – I have two days off from work. The bad – I still have school which is making me want to cry. The ugly – you don’t want to know how much nut butter I’ve had today.

    • I got the shirt through work. It does fit a bit weird, but all the “Run Happies” make me get over the weirdness, haha. Hope you made good use of your 2 days and study and rested and maybe hiked a bit ๐Ÿ™‚ And your Bad is my good ๐Ÿ˜‰
