Wednesday morning I had to chance to run with a blog reader turned friend, Jolene. I met her last year at the Space Coast Marathon and we’ve been e-mailing back and forth for a year now. It still amazes me how blogging has created cherished friendships that never would have happened. Jolene is a mother of 4, yes 4 children, who balances her running with running a family! Not to mention, she’s getting wicked fast. She had to drop the kiddos off at school on Wednesday, so we didn’t meet until 8:30AM.

Remember that cold front I was telling you about last Sunday? Ya, well, it lasted all of 2 days. By Wednesday, it was back to lows in the mid 70’s with moderate humidity. I thought I heard/read somewhere that it was fall?! Ohhhhh yaaaaa… that doesn’t apply to Florida, haha. Regardless, it was a great run and we chatted the entire time.

It was a sweaty run for sure and I made sure to replenish the only way I want and know how to…

Nuun Mix

Look at those rays of light! When I use my big water bottle for hydration, I usually use two Nuun tablets to get enough flavor. This go around I choose Cherry Limeade and Watermelon.

The weather in FL is back to summer like temps and it feels like summer, but everything around me screams fall: all the stores have fall decorations, Facebook/Bloggers post pics of long sleeved runs and beautiful changing leaves and most evident, everything pumpkin! I’ve tried Trader Joe’s Honey Roasted Ravioli and it was delicious! You’d think after the Think Mint Sprint race and the abundance of cookies I got I’d be over them, but nope! TJ’s Pumpkin Joe-Joes are the BOMB!

TraderJoesPumpkinJoeJoes.jpgThe cookie part is slightly spiced but the cream in the center steals the show. It’s just perfect. It’s fluffy and actually pushes out when you eat it. instead of being a hard, lard center like “other sandwich cookies.” More pumpkin goodness are TJ’s Pumpkin O’s…

Pumpkin O'sThese were awesome! I loved the hint of pumpkin spice on the whole grain O’s. If you want a yummy recipe using the O’s, check out Brittany’s Pumpkin Pie Cereal Clusters. Or just eat them by the handful like I do πŸ™‚ Trader Joe’s impressed me again with their Mini Ginger Pumpkin Ice Cream Mouthfuls.

These were unbelievable. The cookies were soft and almost gooey and I loved them that way because they were easy to bite into. It’s hard to screw up pumpkin ice cream and TJ’s did not disappoint. These are a total win in my book!Β Β Can you tell they were halfway defrosted by the time I got home?! haha.

Pumpkin Spice creamerAnd what would my coffee be without a seasonal creamer? Who needs a PSL when you can just add this stuff… it’s not like real pumpkin is in the lattes anyways πŸ˜‰

So what’s a girl to do when everything online, in stores and on TV is Fall, but it’s clearly still summer outside? Indulge in all these goodies and be grateful that I won’t have to shovel snow in a few months, haha.

What’s your favorite Pumpkin treat?

      • Do it! You won’t be disappointed! Yesterday’s race was a scorcher with some suprise hills that I missed during training. Not a PR day but I’m happy with my effort. I’m heading in the right direction.
