Happy What I Ate Wednesday everyone! After a few weeks of over indulging- expensive (delicious) lunch meetings, birthdays, and random sweet treats– I’ve gotten back on track to being able to just say no! when offered something unhealthy. Just some thoughts to get you through the end of the week… I think Chick-Fil-A is SO GOOD. Always have, so no this isn’t a preggo craving. There’s just something about it that puts it over the top. And FYI if you order it sans butter on the bread you save some calories and sat fat and it tastes the same. Promise. I think these tissue are brilliant. WIAW: Eating for OHSS

This edition of What I Ate Wednesday is a day full of eats while I had Ovarian Hyperstimulating Syndrome (OHSS). Instead of coffee, even decaf… ample amounts of Nuun. ALL DAY. For breakfast, I had heated up ham steak instead of yogurt and had instant grits instead of oatmeal. The cheese flavor packed the biggest sodium punch! Now that’s a good southern girls breakfast! Happy weekend ladies and gents! I figured I’d try and balance my pregnancy post with normal ones, so I’m doing every other one preg related. I Looked 4-5 Months Pregnant from Day 1

After pumping my body with hormones and doing the IUI to get pregnant, I developed what’s called Ovarian Hyper Stimulation Syndrome- OHSS. With this condition, my empty follicles, from after I released the eggs (the reason for the trigger shot), fill with fluid. My ovaries were already swollen, but this causes them to swell even more. The fluid leaked from my ovaries into my abdominal cavity, creating discomfort and bloating. Lets start from the beginning of my pregnancy journey and creating baby W… When we got back from Israel (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) in mid March, I started “my” baby making process.
