Month: November 2015

Can you believe Thanksgiving is already over and December is tomorrow?! Holy Cow! Time is flying and standing still all at the same time… let me explain with a Baby Winchell update… Linking up today with Erin for my weekend snapshot, Katie for MIMM and the weekly wrap! The Thursday before I was 34 weeks (my preggo weeks start on Sat) I was feeling a weird pain under my belly button and went to the doc to make sure everything was OK. Turns out the “pain” was completely normal and most likely due to the fact that I had abs before I got pregnant and they […]

For Two Fitness® Yoga Shorts!

Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day! I just wanted to drop a by quickly and share about a company I am thankful to be partnered with… I announced back in September that I was accepted to be a For Two Fitness® ambassador. It’s great to be apart of community of like minded people while being pregnant- that working out is A-Okay! They sent me their yoga shorts to review and I couldn’t wait to put them on. Now I admit that I haven’t done yoga in WAY too long, BUT with how comfortable they are… I’ve been wearing them around […]

I mentioned a while back how I’m keeping my protein up during pregnancy. I’ve cut back the carbs a bit- which is SO HARD being a pre-preggo crazy runner- and try to add in protein everywhere I can. We all know how much I love nut butters and I’ve always wanted to try the ones with added protein. I finally got my hands on some samples sent from Buff Bake and am IMPRESSED! I tried the Snickerdoodle almond spread first, as I’ve read good things about it. It was good, but out of the three, it came in third. Next […]

I was going through my phone the other day and came across some pictures I’ve been meaning to share… so pretty much this is a photo dump. Just go with it and enjoy 🙂 Man, I really miss running here… every time I drive under I think about how great it will be pushing Baby W up and down the “bridge.” Since when did Target start passing out free popcorn to eat while shopping?! They must have known I was coming 😉 Swollen feet= compression socks. Add in some Nuun to make sure I’m fully hydrated and I’m good to go! […]

Our trip to Australia started in Sydney. You can read about that HERE. Cairns was a beautiful city. It’s pretty touristy though, as many people stay there because its close to the Great Barrier Reef… which is why we went there 😉 Our first day there, we walked around and took in the small city, or should I say town. On the second day we took a snorkeling tour of the Great Barrier Reef. Sounds awesome right?!?! Unless you’re the pregnant girl who didn’t know she’d get horrible sea sickness and throw up the entire 5.5 hour trip. I barely […]

Hey Hey! I feel like I start every post with an apology for not posting in a while… my bad. Things really aren’t THAT busy, but we’ve had a lot of random stuff to do that seems to take up so much time! Let’s get to it… Last week I started getting this pain right under my belly button that went down a few inches. It wasn’t a sharp pain, but felt more like a bruise if you even touched it, let alone pressed on it. On top of that it was hurting to pee. Not like a UTI kind […]

So here we are, at the end of week 33. I think it’s about time for a recap on the past few weeks. Check out my previous preggo recaps:  weeks 1-7, weeks 8-12, weeks 13-16, weeks 17-20, weeks 21-24, and weeks 25-28. Weeks 29-30 were spent in Australia, which, no surprise here, I still owe you a recap on the Cairns and Melbourne parts of our trip. Weight Gain= I gained 17 lbs as of 28 weeks. Wk 29- 0, Wk 30- 1, Wk 31- 1, Wk 32- 1, Wk 33- 2. Total by 28 weeks: 22 lbs. Right on target for the 1lb a […]

I figured it was about time I shared with you some of the fun pumpkin things I’ve tried over the past month or so… Most of them are indulgent so, I’m linking up for Treat Yourself Tuesday. My mom bought the Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Spice Bread. Ummm yes. I enjoyed it toasted with butter, straight out of the package and as french toast. I made GiGi’s Pumpkin Spice Latte and it was SO GOOD! Highly recommend her recipe 🙂 The Planters Pumpkin Spice Almonds are AWESOME! Great flavor and not too sweet. Delicious and highly addictive- you’ve been warned! I tried […]

Saturday was my first baby shower of three. My mom and sister threw it for me and it was fabulous. I LOVED their decorations/theme. My mom was clever and made sure to sneak in some pumpkins, since I’m all about those this time of year! The food was delicious as always. My mom and sister made everything: roasted shrimp, fruit and cheese platter, bruschetta (double points), veggies tray, tomato-basil-mozzarella-chicken skewers, curried chicken salad sammies/ lettuce wraps. And of course dessert was the bomb! We all know how much I like frosting, so my sister made sure to pipe generous portions […]

Hello my lovely readers! I have a busy week ahead of me and I wanted to stop in real quick and give you an update on my weekend… I hit the 32 week mark on Halloween and wore my pumpkin shirt to celebrate! I also ended up going to the Taylor Swift 1989 concert at the last minute. My BF’s husband had been trying to get tickets and we finally found some that weren’t a bazillion dollars… In the nosebleeds section, haha. But that’s OK! We were at T Swift and loving it! My sister in law and niece were […]
