Hey there ladies and gentleman! I have breaking news for you!

Kara's Debut

Baby Kara made her debut 3.5 weeks early and arrived on December 3! She weighed in at 6 lbs 9 oz and 18.25 inches long- a healthy little girl!

Kara Skin to Skin
I’ll do another post on her birth story, but my plan was to have her naturally and that’s what I freakin did! Todd couldn’t (and still can’t) stop saying how proud he is of me and I must say, I’m pretty happy with myself, too, haha.

After Hospital Bath

The above pic was just after her first bath at the hospital. Look at all that hair! We were able to leave the hospital after being there a total of 36 hrs and I was so grateful to get to go home early. We’ve been hanging out in diapers and just soaking up all the love.

Diaper Baby

I always thought it was rediculous when people said they could stare at their baby for hours. Ya well, I can eat my words because I could watch her all day long! So much love, more than I could have imagined. It’s cliche, but it’s true!

Baby Kara

Linking up today with Erin for my weekend snapshot, Katie for MIMM and the weekly wrap! OK… time for me to go stare at my little Kara <3

    • Thanks, Melissa! I’ll be sharing more as the days pass, but I don’t want to be that super annoying new mom who blasts you guys with pics, haha

    • Oh gosh! I hope not much! Not gonna lie, I felt pretty bad ass when all was said and done. If I can go through that, I can definitely get a sub 3:10… maybe even sub 3:00?!?!? 😉

    • I am soaking up every minute FOR SURE! Since she’s a premie all she does is sleep- for now, I know this will change! and it makes every second that much better (easier, haha)!

  1. Awww she is so beautiful! 3 weeks early? She was ready to make her grand entrance. Looks like mom and baby are doing well. So very glad for that! Yea, go enjoy that baby! Thanks for letting us know through the link up!! Have an awesome week 🙂

    • We are doing great! Not as sleep deprived as yet as I thought I would be, but it’s still early on. I know things will change. Being a mom is the best thing ever <3

    • Yes, FINALLY! Thank you for sticking with me and providing great posts to keep me entertained during this long ass process. You are one of my originals and I can’t thank you enough for all the support and kind words 🙂

    • Thanks, Suzi! It’s been a long road, but SO worth it! Motherhood is beyond amazing! If onlu you lived in FL, you could take her newborn photos 🙂

  2. HOLD THE PRESSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still “offended” that you weren’t ACTUALLY IG-ing me as you were pushing her out of your volcano hole… LMFAO!

    • Thanks, Sue 🙂 We have adjusted very well! Part of it has to do with her being a bit premie… our first 2 weeks she slept all the time and rarely cried. The closer we get to her “due date” the more normal baby like she’s becoming. I’m loving every second <3
