It’s Friday Favorite Time!

Here are some Friday Favorites for you!

Super Bowl Food. We went to my parents for the Super Bowl and had some random, but yummy food. It was cold here and chili was the perfect dinner! We snacked on chips and salsa and guac before dinner and for dessert my mom made brownie bites with banana, pumpkin, almond butter, almond flour and chocolate chips along with chocolate meringues. She wanted to make sure everything was dairy free for Kara. What a great Nana!

Grocery Shopping. I’ve always enjoyed grocery shopping- just not putting them away, haha. On the weekend, Todd watches Kara, but when I have to make a mid week run, she’s my favorite item!

Ross. I love all the good deals you can get a stores like this. This candle smells divine and was only $5. Good candles can be expensive! I also got veggie chips and Justin’s Honey Almond Butter for $4.99!!

BostonBoundStephanieStephanie had us over for dinner and made homemade spring rolls with the best dipping sauce ever! They were so good! For dinner we had tasty shrimp that her (new) fiance cooked up, alongside rice and salad. It was a fun night catching up and chatting about running, wedding stuff and Kara 🙂 Thanks girl!

Winter Clothes. It’s not super cold here in Tampa often, so I’ve been excited to bundle Kara up in winter clothes. She’s just too cute in her little hooded jacket with mittens and pants. My little Eskimo!

And last but not least…

The Olympic Marathon Trials! I’m so freakin excited for Saturday. You better believe I’ll be on the edge of my seat cheering everyone on.

Linking up with DC Trifecta Bloggers (Courtney from Eat Pray Run DC, Mar from Mar on the Run, and Cynthia from You Signed Up For What?!) for the weekly Friday Five Link Up.  Be sure to check out their posts as well 🙂

  1. Brave of you to balance eggs on a sleeping baby! Of course, mine always woke up as soon as we got to the store and as a three-year-old she breaks something just about every trip. Great post – it made me hungry!!

    • Yes! I went to a baby shower last weekend that was brunch and everything had dairy. I was only able to eat fruit and black coffee… ugh

  2. I love how you pieced all the groceries into the cart around your precious sleeping baby. All the Superbowl treats look amazing. 🙂 Spring rolls are so good. They’re like the fresh version of egg rolls.
