Two Sentence Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! I know I normally post on Monday’s, but I took the day off of work to spend some extra time with Kara and my parents, so I’m posting today. NBD. I feel like I have a lot to “tell” so I’m going to try and keep it to two sentences per picture using collages!

I had a great balance of “faster” and easy runs this past week, along with two Body Pump classes! I’m surprisingly not as sore as I thought I’d be and sad my running/exercise has to come to an end again, but know it will be worth it.

The weekend consisted of Teddy Bear Time, new shoe wearing, bad parenting (walking around the neighborhood in her new shoes with just a jacket in 75 degree weather) and reading an awesome article on Shalane in our local paper. We also went to a first birthday party and Granny’s house- Todd’s mom.

My vacation Monday included zoo time with Nana and Grandpa and per usual, Kara enjoyed every second. Spending time with family really is the best.  We had our usual Friday froyo date last week and one after our zoo day as well. This girl is spoiled with her froyo but I love our tradition and she always gets fruit 😉

Back to the zoo- they had a lot of Christmas decorations up already and Kara loved the huge ornaments! It’s impossible to get a pic with this kid and have her smile.

In the food department, I hit up the Whole Foods hot bar twice. I love being able to choose mostly healthy foods, but throw in some “bad ones” as well.

Todd and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary last week. I got a friend at work to snap a pic on THE day <3

We got a smoker and tried out some veggies, pork loin and turkey breast. The meat was delicious, but the veggies- meh and the asparagus= gross.

And that’s all I’ve got for ya this go around! I think I kept it pretty concise, seeing as I could’ve gone on forever about each thing, haha. Feel free to ask any questions if you want more detail 🙂 I’ll give you a Baby #2 update soon- nothing to crazy, maybe even tomorrow!
