I got in two really great runs with Jolene last week. I don’t know what happened, but out of no where, my comfortable pace dropped to the low 8:00’s. Not gonna lie, it felt good! I know running with Jolene is what helped. Miles fly by with her. I really focused on listening to her footsteps to increase my cadence and it worked! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! We kept things low key, with the normal running eating and family time, but lets start with last week… Every Monday I take a rest day. Happy Monday! Last week was a weird one, huh?! We had to work Monday, had Tuesday off and then worked the rest of the week. Pancake Helper

I thought it would be fun to do a WIAW about my food and routine on a work day when I’m running. So here it goes… Wake up at early-o’clock! Depending on my run, I’ll either drink Nuun or Amino Energy or both, while I foam roll. After sleeping all night, my legs are tight and need a little warming up before I start working them. It was a busy weekend in the Winchell household! But let’s start with last week… Todd took the week off of work to get some stuff done around the house. High Tea

Good Morning! Happy Belated Father’s Day to any dad’s who read the blog (I’m guessing it’s only Todd and my dad, haha). We celebrated with having everyone over, spending quality time together and eating! For dinner we had steak, baked potatoes and broccoli. And for dessert, of course we had a huge delicious cake.
