Gasparilla 2017

Wellllll Helllooooo There! Yes, yes I know… It has been forever since I posted. It honestly doesn’t feel like a month has passed, but it has. My apologizes. Life took over one again and blogging got put on the back burner. Get ready for picture overload. Here are some happenings to catch you up… Running has resumed and I am in my happy place! I’ve been running anywhere from 4-8 miles and plan on increasing my long run by one mile each week to ramp up for marathon training. Thaaaaaat’s right. I said marathon training. Not sure which one yet, […]

Kara's 1st Pool Trip

I shared with you guys my Running Comeback Plan, which was a loose explanation of my start back into running and my bigger plans. I’m excited to say that I have actually been working toward those goals by incorporating more workout type running. Back before we started this pregnancy journey, I used to post my workouts while I was marathon training. I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to do that now, as I’m not really hard core training, but will be doing more than just easy runs. I just don’t want to bore you, haha. I’m thinking I’ll […]

Weekend Happenings

Look at me writing consistent posts 😉 After a perfectly busy week- you know, the kind where you have just enough time to get stuff/work/life done but still have a few seconds to relax- we had a low key weekend and I’m ready to tackle the last week in October. Can’t believe how quick time is flying… I guess we always say that huh?! As of Saturday, I’m 31 weeks pregnant and kicked it off with a great Body Pump class. I got this shirt at Old Navy on sale for like $5 and I LOVE IT! I’m all about the fierceness. […]

Let’s hope this week flies by and we’re enjoying the weekend again I took another Saturday Body Pump class. My mom came and it was a good time. Pregnancy: Weeks 17-20 with a Weekly Workout Recap!

Let’s take a look at my pregnancy during weeks 17-20. Here are my previous updates: weeks 1-7, weeks 8-12, and weeks 13-16. Weight Gained: At 16 weeks I had gained 8 lbs. 17 wks +0 lb,  18 wks + 1lb , 19 wks + 1 lb and by 20 weeks I gained 11 lbs total. Symptoms: My boobs aren’t sore anymore but they are huge! I always thought I’d want a boob job after having kids (since I hear it can make them saggy) but I’m seriously considering otherwise now, haha. Sleeping has become a guessing game. Some nights are great, while others […]
