PRO Compression

I was going through my phone the other day and came across some pictures I’ve been meaning to share… so pretty much this is a photo dump. Just go with it and enjoy 🙂 Man, I really miss running here… every time I drive under I think about how great it will be pushing Baby W up and down the “bridge.” Since when did Target start passing out free popcorn to eat while shopping?! They must have known I was coming 😉 Swollen feet= compression socks. Add in some Nuun to make sure I’m fully hydrated and I’m good to go! […]

*Work* New Year Resolutions, Including Futbol

I could give or take on the whole new years resolution thing, but there are a few things that I want to start getting better at work, so I’ll roll with work resolutions… Limit Coffee/Caffeine There is an unlimited supply of coffee at work. That is Dangerous my friends. I never let myself have a cup after 11AM, as I’m afraid it will keep me up at night. However, I still have to be careful about drinking too much before then. My boss only drinks decaf, so I try to have just one caffeinated cup and then the rest decaf. […]

My 2015 So Far…

My New Years Eve consisted of a pajama party with my parents, Kristin and Rich- Kristin’s BF (do I still need to refer to him as “Kristin’s BF” or do you think people have caught on?) We had some TJ cheese and crackers as munchies. The women drank moscato wine my mom brought over and the guys, beer. Of course, I wore my PRO Compression lucky clover marathon socks under my pj pants. The champagne we had was disgusting, so I supplemented with Sprite and an All Day Nuun for some delicious bubbly! It did the trick, as I was […]

WIAW: A WHOLE Chicken in the Crock Pot

I’m linking up with Jenn and Peas And Crayons for another edition of What I Ate Wednesday! Are you guys still enjoying theses posts? Or should I do the bi-weekly? Be honest.   6:30 AM First cup of coffee of the morning at home with this delicious Califia Farms Almond Milk Holiday Nog find as the creamer… It’s definitely thinner than regular egg nog, but is also only 50 calories and 8g sugar for 1/4 cup instead of 150. I’ve been enjoying it in my coffee in the mornings and at night with my nut butter 🙂 7:30 AM A new to […]

My Birthday Weekend: Pictures, Food and Snippets

WORKOUTS Sunday: 6 miles @ 8:32 pace on trail Monday: 4 miles @ 8:40 pace on treadmill Tuesday: Body Pump ****** SATURDAY: Ran outside, ate pancakes, went to Body Pump. Did a little too much shopping, which I actually dislike very much. Dropped by a 90’s theme party. Ate dinner at my parents. Yummy stir fry and brown rice. The Trader Joe’s Jasmine Brown Rice is so easy to cook and the fluffiest brown rice I’ve had. Watched Rich’s (my sister’s BF) baseball game, while consuming Pop Rocks from the 90’s party. His team is in the playoffs and they won, […]

Police Memorial 5k

WORKOUTS Wednesday: 4 miles @ 8:45 pace on treadmill Thursday: 4 miles @ 8:30 pace on treadmill Friday: Rest Saturday: 4 miles @ 8:40 pace outside/ Body Pump ****** LAST Saturday, I ran in the Tampa Police Memorial 5k with Melissa. It was a great event to honor the fallen police officers in Tampa. It started in front of the Tampa Police Department, where there is a really cool memorial… Right before the start, a deputy sang the National Anthem while two officers repelled down the side of the building with the flag. So cool. The course was mainly on […]

WIAW: Saturday and Sunday Celebrations

WORKOUTS Sunday: 6 miles @ 8:33 pace on trail with Todd 🙂 Monday: Rest Tuesday: 4 miles @ 8:00 pace on treadmill/ Pilates Wednesday: 5 miles @ 8:23 pace on trail with Jolene ****** I’m jumping on the What I Ate Wednesday wagon again and linking up with Jenn at Peas And Crayons, to bring you my delicious eats from this weekend. My birthday isn’t for a few weeks, but due to some unfavorable circumstances, we had to celebrate this weekend. Saturday started with a run on the treadmill and the usual oatmeal/protein shake combo for breakfast. Lunch was ham […]

Father’s Day and Some Randoms

My dad is pretty predictable when it comes to Father’s Day/ Birthday dinner requests. Just like LAST YEAR and every year before that, he always asks for Ham and Asparagus Lasagna with some form of my mom’s chocolate cake for dessert. The lasagna has an alfredo-like sauce and it’s actually REALLY good!  This year, he went with the good ole classic chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It never gets old and is so delicious. I already can’t wait for his birthday in a month when we’ll have it again 🙂  I had mine sans ice cream this time, but the […]

National Running Day a Day Late

Ya ya. I know. National Running Day was June 4th. Better late than never right? It’s not like I actually got to run… waaaa waaa <- pity party much?! Instead, I wore a running shirt and drank some wine. Not too shabby, although I’d trade the wine for a run any day! Last year, I made an “I Run…” badge so I thought I should again… While I certainly miss the endorphin rush that running gives me, I also miss the amount of food I was able to eat, haha. There was nothing better than coming home from a super […]
