WIAW

I thought it would be fun to do a WIAW about my food and routine on a work day when I’m running. So here it goes… Wake up at early-o’clock! Depending on my run, I’ll either drink Nuun or Amino Energy or both, while I foam roll. After sleeping all night, my legs are tight and need a little warming up before I start working them. I haven’t done a WIAW in a loooooooooong time. Mainly because I can never remember to take pictures of everything I eat. Jolene and I decided we’d do one this week since we keep each other motivated to stay on the healthy train. I haven’t done a What I Ate Wednesday in a looooong time. Let me start off by saying that my “meals” while on maternity leave are quite different from my past WIAWs at work. No longer can I have my beloved yogurt parfaits, whey shakes, or froyo/ice cream dates. Yes, I now have 3 breakfasts… totally normal. I mentioned a while back how I’m keeping my protein up during pregnancy. I’ve cut back the carbs a bit- which is SO HARD being a pre-preggo crazy runner- and try to add in protein everywhere I can. I’ve got a What I Ate Wednesday for you guys this week! I figured since my eats are pretty much the same thing, with a few variations, I’d just do a WIAW every other week. Happy What I Ate Wednesday everyone! After a few weeks of over indulging- expensive (delicious) lunch meetings, birthdays, and random sweet treats– I’ve gotten back on track to being able to just say no! when offered something unhealthy. WIAW: Just Another Yummy Day

I skipped What I Ate Wednesday last week, but I’m back at it! Check out my day of eats and treats and see what others are munching on at Sprint to the Table. BREAKFAST: Yogurt Parfait at work. 2% Fage greek yogurt, chopped up strawberries and blueberries, slivered almonds and puffed rice cereal. I’ve been LOVING this combo.
